School Vision:
Each child will leave Bayshore with a sense of what is morally good, as well as a sound educational foundation on which to build attitudes, habits and opinions in later life.

Mission Statement:
The mission of Bayshore is to foster excellence and praise accomplishments of the students and staff. Each child will experience activities to develop skills for independent thinking and sound judgment.

About Bayshore Elementary:
Bayshore Elementary School, in rural North Fort Myers, is surrounded by orange groves and pine woods. This clean and attractive school, with a spacious campus, provides the best environment in Lee County. Bayshore's current enrollment capacity is 651 students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. If you are looking for a small, friendly school, with an inviting atmosphere, Bayshore is for you. It provides not only a superior education, but a sense of belonging.

During the 2009-2010 school year, Bayshore Elementary again received a grade of "A" for exceeding state standards. Our school was able to exceed standards because the basic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics are the academic focus at Bayshore Elementary School.

Parents are an integral part of our curriculum. We appreciate our many volunteers. Our business partners include Faith Assembly of God, Messiah Lutheran Church, Wal-Mart, Sweetbay, Raymond Building Supply, Brent's Air Conditioning, Affordable Animal Care Clinic, State Farm-Ray Hair, and Spikowski Planning Associates.

The No Child Left Behind School Public Accountability Report (formerly the School Advisory Council Report) is available for public review in the school office.
