ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Bayshore Elementary School, in rural North Fort Myers, is
surrounded by orange groves and pine woods. This clean and
attractive school, with a spacious campus, provides the best
environment in Lee County. The school's current enrollment is
approximately 550 students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.
If you are looking for a small, friendly school, with an
inviting atmosphere, Bayshore is for you. It provides not only a
superior education, but a sense of belonging.
During the 2010-2011 school year, Bayshore Elementary again
received a grade of "A" for exceeding state standards. Our
school was able to exceed standards because the basic skills of
reading, writing, and mathematics provide our academic focus.
Bayshore has been ranked as an "A" school every year since 2002.
Parents are an integral part of our curriculum. We appreciate
our many volunteers.
Our business partners include Faith Assembly of God, Messiah
Lutheran Church, Wal-Mart, Sweetbay, Raymond Building Supply,
Brent's Air Conditioning, Affordable Animal Care Clinic, State
Farm-Ray Hair, and Spikowski Planning Associates.
The No Child Left Behind School Public Accountability Report
(formerly the School Advisory Council Report) is available for
public review in the school office. |
